FAQs

What happens after Intro Part 1 and 2?

This is a great question! While everyone starts from a different place and movement background, these classes are designed to get you ready for the next level. After you’ve completed them, you will likely be ready to become a member and move on to the rest of our full schedule but if you feel more comfortable hanging out at the intro level a little longer, you can retake the classes as many times as you’d like to feel ready!

What do I wear?

For the best grip on the pole, please wear shorts or capri leggings that can be rolled up above the knee. A tank top or sports bra is perfect and don’t worry about bringing heels to wear, most dancers start out barefoot to get comfortable first!

Do you have other types of classes?

Um, YES! If you’d like to come dance with us, but you aren’t sure if you’d like to jump into the world of pole dancing just yet, we have options! We have all-level classes for chair dance, floor work, hip hop, heels, and yoga. Check out the all-level schedule below and #feelfree to drop in!

I have no upper body strength! Can I still try this?

Yes, yes, a THOUSAND TIMES yes! Upper body strength is not a pre-requisite to start because pole dancing strengthens and conditions your entire body as you learn. You’ll find that after a few classes, you’ll be moving with confidence. Your style is completely unique, so there is no right or wrong way to move to the music! Just come as you are and we’ll show you everything you need to know.

How do I find the studio?

To park, plug “125 Court Street, White Plains, NY” in to your GPS to go directly to the municipal lot right behind our building. On Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, we are on the second floor above Mario’s Pizza, look for the brick doorway with number 110 above it! Please be sure to arrive right on time or a few minutes early. If you are more than 5 minutes late you will not be allowed in to class as you will have missed too much of our warm up and it will be disruptive to your fellow students! Be nice to yourself!

Make New Friends, Surprise Yourself

My favorite thing about these classes is how supportive everyone is of each other. Experienced students push each other to do better and cheer on new students. I leave each class feeling totally confident and loving myself. Can’t recomend this studio enough!
